It was 5 degrees and sunny with 15 to 20 mph winds when I took Colin out at 8am.
Yesterday they moved Bob back to the 6th floor where he was four weeks ago. He still has the one chest tube and trach.

Nope. Not going there. Site was blocked by Norton as a dangerous site.
All of my site checkers cleared it. I’m sorry, but I have not trusted Norton for years, essentially since Peter Norton sold his soul. That site does have a lot of stuff blocked by Ad-Block Plus and uBlock Origin, but no more than most sites today.

Add/Edit-FYI: I use premium versions of Malwarebytes and iObit Malware Fighter (in addition to a couple of compatible anti-virus), all of which scan and watch all sites for even the slightest abnormality. iObits even gives me a “safe” green check mark or “bad” red x mark for all results when I do searches using any search engine. Knock on wood, I have not had a malicious web site problem since I dumped Norton (like I said, when Peter sold out).

I use premium versions of Malwarebytes
I also use Malwarebytes premium and have for about eight years. I paid $14.00 at Newegg for a lifetime subscription. Not a bad deal at the time. I also use Norton as Comcast provides it for free. I have used Norton since the early days of DOS and have no complaints.
I used ESET at work but it had a problem working with Malwarebytes. PC’s would not boot properly unless booted into safe mode then booted again. Removed ESET, problem went away. Installed back, same problem. Removed Malwarebytes, problem went away. Installed back and problem came back.
Turned into a pissing contest between Malwarebytes and ESET with the final conclusion by both is that there was a configuration problem in my system. Did not seem to phase either entity that the same issue was occurring on multiple systems. Neither could tell me the configuration issue as the conflict was with the other entity. So I gave up on Malwarebytes on the work systems.
Regardless, if either alerts on a site I consider that good enough for me and will not continue to the site.
Lately a lot of sites have been detecting my ad blocker and refuse to load. Those sites are also off my list. I sometimes go to them on my iPad and that makes me realize how valuable blocking ads is to the overall experience.
My credit union has added a new feature to their online banking system. An aggregation of all your funds at the credit union and other institutions. But that requires I enable 3rd party cookies. No way in hell that is going to happen. A bone headed decision on the part of the credit union. Compromising security for a minimal benefit. Cannot who would imagine that was a good idea.
Yes, I can whitelist the site in Google Chrome. But I refuse. Doing so is not generally in the skill set of the average user. I refuse to allow the setting for everything and consider it good practice to disable 3rd party cookies for everything. Some pencil pusher must have thought it was a good idea. If it was the IT staff they should all be terminated immediately.

Buying Target could prove expensive and, IIRC, involve dealing with the Dayton family.
Buying Sears out of Bankruptcy would still provide better real estate, even with Lampert’s antics of the last decade, and Kenmore is still a valuable brand name in appliances.
Sears would also give Amazon a big chunk of Lands End, providing instant apparel cred for Bezos’ attempts at jump starting private label clothing lines.
The Sears near where I grew up outside Tampa already leases one floor to Whole Foods. I’m sure that’s not the only location where both chains share a single roof.
Target is associated with CVS Pharmacies which could provide the way for Amazon to get into the prescription drug business.
Sears used to have good real estate, but all malls are on a death slide and there does not appear anyone in the mall business that has a clue on how to stop the decline.
Then again, Amazon could fill all the vacant stores in the mall with all it departments. I can see it now, coast to coast Amazon Malls.
Just convert the malls to showrooms and warehouse for local fulfillment. they were avoiding real estate to avoid creating nexus, and having to collect taxes. That ship sailed though, so they could use some more regional distribution centers. Malls don’t have enough dock space but they do have ground level drive in and out….
It’ll be interesting to watch the evolution to see if they end up rebuilding that which they destroyed.

10-4, my first 10 years were in MPLS where Dayton’s was the big time department store in the heart of downtown. We used to go there for everything.

Not all retailers are struggling, and the competition isn’t entirely clueless. H-Mart spent the last year fusing a former Sports Authority and Bed Bath & Beyond into a single large store not far from our house. Opening date is slated for a few weeks.

Fwiw I run ESET and Malwarebytes without issues across 3 PCs – happy with both (and glad I paid for the MWB lifetime subscription way back when).
