Mon. April 14, 2025 – getting close to tax day…

By on April 14th, 2025 in culture, decline and fall, lakehouse

Cool and nice, probably around 70F and clear. Might be windy though. The wind was blowing like crazy yesterday. And the sun was enough I got burned on my neck and face… mainly because I couldn’t keep my big hat on. The wind blew it away whenever I turned the wrong direction.

I did a bunch of yard work. I’d fallen behind a bit and some of it was catch up. Some was just Spring though.

Got the apple trees planted and watered in.

Got the truck unloaded and some of the stuff stowed away.

Today I’ve got more cleanup outside to do, mainly blowing the leaves and debris that trimming left. Then I’ve got to put some of the stuff away, and to do that I’ll have to do some organizing. Then it’s poison fire ant mounds, and load up.

Family made it home safe, even with D1 doing some of the driving. I am always glad to get that text. I do not like it when the pack is divided and traveling separately. Kid needs the practice, but SHE NEEDS PRACTICE. By definition that’s risky. Part of life though. Stacks won’t help her learn, nor keep her safe, but hopefully the rest of my mindset will.

Stack what you can. Do your best for the rest.

Was that someone in the crowd asking about an mRNA flu shot?

    https://www.pfizer.com/news/articles/what_does_mrna_mean_for_the_flu_vaccine

Pfizer wants to develop a “super” flu shot. Moderna, meanwhile, lacking any other commercial product besides Covid jabs, has a goal of an mRNA AIDS jab.

Having failed to eliminate Control in the population of the US, both companies face at least another decade of testing to prove the mRNA technology is safe enough for non-EUA applications.

Eliminating Control was the point of the mRNA jabs. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine, developed using more conventional but still not proven safe vaccine tech, was quickly discredited in the US.

testing to prove the mRNA technology is safe enough

As pro-vax as I am, I fully agree that the mRNA stuff was inadequately tested. There is some great potential in the technology, but they need a better understanding of how it actually behaves in the body.

I suspect the biggest part of the problem is the cell targeting. The stuff is supposed to trick a few of your muscle cells into producing spike proteins or whatever other protein is being targeted. But it’s just a fluid injected into a muscle, which has blood running through it, so the vaccine also gets into the bloodstream. It’s impossible to know which cells with then be affected and how they will react. That appears to be the route leading to side effects such as myocarditis.

Yeah, and getting the body to make something it wouldn’t normally make, seems like a recipe for disaster.   get it wrong once and you get monsters or plagues.

Copies are available if you are willing to risk using a torrent.

Lucas sold out the fans last year in the Disney proxy fight with the activists. Protecting the wife’s C suite gigs comes first to George.

The fans best hope is that someone who cares buys Lucasfilm out of the inevitable Disney bankruptcy liquidation.

When the definition of vaccine was stealth edited, I knew the jig was up.

I only found that out after I had already declined the jab and was fired.  I did include that fact in my Texas Workforce  appeal documents after Houston Methodist challenged my unemployment benefits.  HM didn’t show up at the appeal hearing, so I won by default, not by argument.

I also found out about the changes to the definitions of epidemic and pandemic that happened to set up for the rollout of the Covid “pandemic”.

    re: mRNA testing.

As pro-vax as I am, I fully agree that the mRNA stuff was inadequately tested. There is some great potential in the technology, but they need a better understanding of how it actually behaves in the body.

Here are some things that maybe should be tested before anyone ever takes another mRNA jab:

    1.  Long-term animal testing.  Maybe perhaps some of the animals need to survive the treatment?
    2. Dispersal of lipid nanoparticles.  Where do they go?  Do they do long-term harm?
    3. Dispersal of mRNA.  It’s supposed to be highly localized in the muscular injection site.  It’s not.  Where does it go?
    4. Duration of spike protein generation?  It’s supposed to be very short term, just to trigger an immune response.  It isn’t.

Inadequately tested?  It’s as if they didn’t test it at all.

They did test it.  In the US something like 250M people have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine.  That’s one hell of a test. Albeit, an unethical one.

  25. lpdbw says:

For those who didn’t click the above link:

Well, it’s perfectly normal for someone to delete all their paper and email trail, and then make statements similar to “So I think we are all safe”.

The Johnson & Johnson jab did not use mRNA tech. It was never banned but many outlets dropped that option. Control must be eliminated.

Plus, I think many people lied about getting the “vaccines”. Getting a fake vaccination card was too simple.

Good question, one I have wondered about myself.

Supposedly it is autonomous, and there officially is no crew or  ‘pilot in command’.

How Bezos wrangled that for a human-rated craft (even hot air balloons have a PIC) must have quite a backstory.

Having Katy Perry on the crew of all women was meant to make you think of “I Kissed a Girl”, the song which put her on the map.

Sadly, the brutal satire of the video, performed by no less than pre-“Doctor Who” Karen Gillan, seems to have disappeared from existence.

People remember, however. And Gillan knows how to imitate Katy Perry.

Picked the kid up, late bus dropped her at the wrong school.  They are supposed to drop at the elementary closest to your house, but new driver got the names mixed up.   All the schools in the district seem to recycle the same 5 words in different combinations for names.  And there are elementary, middle, and high schools that have the same names, but not all of them.  Confusing AF.

Blue Origin’s spacecraft carries a crew of six and is fully autonomous, not controlled by a pilot on board.

I remember going to the Galleria 4 theatre here in Houston with my buddies in the summer of 1977.  We had to wait in line around the ice skating rink for several hours before we got in to see the amazing movie.  We were all totally blown away by the movie and went back again a month or two later.

The hospital’s ties to Baylor meant that the “Republicans” nominally in charge of the state looked the other way until Paxton started feuding with the Bush cabal wing of the party leading up to the 2022 Midterms, when the cabal made their move to install P. Diddly as Attorney General.

In the military there is no freedom of speech. A person is owned by the government, given a serial number, and becomes government property. Getting a severe sunburn can result in an Article 15 for abusing government property. In the military you do what you are told by your superiors. Violating that a person needs a good reason.

The consensus in the building at the Austin VA is that the Republicans will get wiped out in the Midterms and Trump will spend the last two years of his term fighting more Impeachment proceedings even if the Senate doesn’t change hands.
