Wed. Nov. 6, 2024 – nope, I don’t know yet…

Cooler and still very damp. It was 65F when I went to bed and I expect it will be near that to start today. We did have a very nice clear afternoon yesterday but there were still rain showers in different parts of town. You could clearly see the rain in the distance.

I got my pickups done, got to my storage unit, and my secondary, and got stuff from my driveway, and loaded stuff for my dropoff. I made it there with 15 minutes to spare… and unloaded what I had. Because time was so tight, I didn’t get everything I hoped, so I expect to make a second dropoff trip, maybe Thursday.

Spent some time doing tech support for my client. Windows issues.

Spent some time avoiding getting sucked into the play by play of the election. I did that last time. Still woke disappointed. We’ll see if today is any different. I hope so.

I’ve got a ton of stuff to do today, and probably won’t get a third of it done, but maybe… just maybe, I’ll get a thing or two done.

And stack. Twice as hard.

breaking news from the Gomorrah Ghee….

President Joe Biden announces early out deal with President Trump: In exchange for amnesty and pardons for his family, Joe has agreed to be out of the White House by the weekend. “I’m stayin’ on the beach anyway, so screw it, he may as well move in early.”

Trump praised the lame duck president, saying “This is going to be YUGE! We will be able to start construction immediately, and have all the Democrats moved to camps by the end of January. I’ve made a side deal with the President of Mexico, and the cartels will limit their distribution to the new camps as they are filled, making sure that Democrats and their children will be able to continue to enjoy the best of their open borders program. ”

Most of Europe, and most of my friends and colleagues are massively anti-Trump

I don’t like Trump either. It was him or the Humper and in my opinion the Humper would have been more of the same disastrous policies. I did not vote for him, I voted against the Humper.

he is somewhat outside of the D.C. political machine

And that is good. He does not owe favors to anyone. He is rude, crude, but says what he means. Maybe it is time there was more of that in DC instead of feel-good speeches and then stabbing in the back. I think most would rather be stabbed in the front.

Europe is just going to have to suck it up

Screw Europe. Until Europe starts paying some of our bills as in paying back the massive amount of money poured into European countries, pays for the defense we provide, provides aid when there is a disaster in the U.S., is willing to stand up to illegal immigration, Europe can solve their own problems. They are just sucking off the U.S. foreign policy.

Europe only sees what the MSM wants Europe to see. That is a very biased view of the U.S.

I like Europe having visited many times with many good friends. I found the people friendly, the country beautiful, and the trains quite good (although regular users of DB would disagree).

I noticed the Camel Humper sent someone else to do the dirty work of announcing the results of the election. Shades of Hillary. I bet there was some throwing of objects, a lot of swearing, a lot of pointing fingers, etc. I don’t think the Humper was a good looser.

I did notice that the stock market futures are up 3% on the election. The DOW is up more than 1,200 points due to the election results. I think if the Humper would have won the results would have been the opposite.

People are pissed off at the economy and the massively increased cost of living. People don’t like the direction the U.S. is heading. The democrats are responsible for the problems while enriching their own status. People, such as the Humper, senators, and congress critters, that have not pumped a tank of gas in 20 years, have not had to fly on commercial airlines, have not had to buy their own groceries, get special treatment wherever they go, have no concept of what the working folks have to endure. While both parties abuse the system, the democrats seem to abuse the system more.

Things are going to be interesting the next four years. I suspect the Humper will be back in 2028 and I think she will have a better chance to win. There will be a lot of lessons learned by her and her staff.

The mainstream media is continuing their fumbling all over themselves trying desperately to make Trump look bad. I think they are more pissed off over the election results than the Humper as Orange Man will not be kind to the press. And much deserved.

I don’t think the world will see much of Spongey over the next two months. Spongey, along with being a lame duck, is a “Captain. Dunsel”, no longer needed, no longer wanted. I fully expect Joe Biden will die within the next 24 months, or be committed to a nursing home. Well, actually a large home with full time nursing care by half a dozen people. Special treatment and all that, and using much of the ill-gotten money accrued over a lifetime of sucking off the government.

Global cancer explosion: Experts discover nations where you’re most likely to die of the disease – it doesn’t look good for the UK

By Emily Stearn, Senior Health Reporter For Mailonline

    Published: 06:34 EST, 6 November 2024 | Updated: 07:06 EST, 6 November 2024

The UK has been warned to brace for an explosion in cancer deaths, with numbers lost to the disease set to soar by more than 50 per cent over the next two decades.

A rising and ageing population — combined with unhealthy lifestyles — are said to be fuelling the problem, experts behind a damning new global report claim.

The new figures reveal that, despite a record £192billion spent on the NHS this year, the UK has one of the worst cancer mortality rates globally, coming 123rd out of 185 nations.

Both the US and Australia fared far better, in 68th and 82nd place respectively in terms of mortality rate.

Conservatives now think Trump will file felony charges against beloved liberal icon

    By Alex Hammer For Dailymail.Com

Conservatives are already predicting Donald Trump will file federal charges against Anthony Fauci.

The conjecture comes as figures like Elon Musk have called for the arrest of the infectious disease expert who served as one of Trump’s leading medical advisors during the Covid pandemic.

At the height of his power, bobblehead doll figures of Fauci appeared in the windows of liberal New York bookshops.

However, demands for his methods to be fully investigated have grown louder since the National Institutes of Health admitted to Congress earlier this year that it funded risky ‘gain of function’ research in Wuhan, China, under Fauci.

Newly uncovered emails went on to show attempts from top aides to evade public record laws and a potential ‘conspiracy at the highest levels… to avoid public transparency regarding the COVID-19 pandemic’, said Rep. Brad Wenstrup.

Do you think there will be a concession speech? It will be more like a chewing out of the voters, her support staff, etc. I would not all be surprised if she does not say there was cheating in the election, the same thing she blasted Trump for saying.

The Humper will be a very sore loser for quite some time. She will be back in 2028 along with a different VP. I don’t think Waltz was a good choice and is probably getting is hiney chewed out big time. In 2028 I suspect it will be Harris vs Vance. In that scenario she will lose even worse.

Or does she just lick her wounds, fade away, get millions for speeches blaming republicans for everything?

tRump can’t accomplish much in four years, some things I’d like to see:

    1. Get the older SCOTUS judges to retire and get some young blood in there.
    2. Groom vAnce as his successor. Get him front and center with accomplishments.
    3. Renew previous tax cuts and add some more.
    4. Fire every Department/Secretary appointee on Jan 20.
    5. Tell Führer Zelenskyy to start negotiating with Putin. Today.
    6. Massive budget cuts for Department level agencies. Especially the Dept. of Education.
    7. Deploy the United States Military to our borders. Lock and load one 30-round magazine. Totally Constitutional.

she didn’t have to go that route this time

True. Her path was quite easy as the democrats really had no one waiting in the wings. The departure of Biden was sudden and unexpected among the DNC, but not others.

Let’s hope she stays away like Hillary. I don’t think that is going to happen. Her ego will not let that happen. A lot depends on the democratic manipulators and how they respond.

    The media isn’t biased

I think the media is just as stunned as their massive effort to get the Humper elected failed. The media will now have to deal with someone that despises the media and is not afraid to tell them what he thinks. The press does not like being told they are idiots.

A mass exodus of trannies, woke, and pussys from the military would be a good thing.

I suspect all the staff will be let go. It is fairly common anytime a new president takes over.

Yes. Give them an early honorable discharge with full VA benefits. But no disability because their body parts were changed. I would also go as far to make the physical and mental testing back at the level it was 50 years ago. If a person cannot handle it, out they go. There were several in my basic training that got let go because they could not cut physically or mentally.

Make the requirements the same for male and female. The military has been color neutral for years, make it also gender neutral. The military is meant to be tough and if someone cannot handle it, get out. The only allowance should be for separate quarters.

The Kamel Humper is finished. She will fade out faster than a cheap pair of jeans from Walmart

I hope you are correct but I don’t think so. I notice she has been strangely quiet after the election results. No appearances, no interviews, no statements, etc. It’s almost as if she ceased to exist. May that will continue be so as you are asserting.

I suspect she is madder than an aggravated hornet, spitting bullets, breaking things, overall, a nasty person. I believe she will be vindictive to her staff and political assistants, blaming them rather than herself and her incompetence.

  36. Ken Mitchell says:

I wonder if tRump can un-pussify the military.

Starting in 2009, Barack Obama started removing “GOFO” (General Or Flag Officers) that he didn’t trust, and promoting the ones he did, polluting the officer corps with people who were more political than competent. Which is why our military has been such a disgrace over the last 15 years. The lawfare against Trump reduced Trump’s ability to counter that, and Biden dialed it back up. At this point, every GOFO now in service was promoted by Obama.  Trump needs to retire all of them, and rebuild the senior military from the O5/O6 level, and cut WAY back the number of GOFO. Right now, we’ve got more admirals than we have ships, and more generals than we have battalions.

  37. Ken Mitchell says:

  45. Ray Thompson says:

There’s no excuse for counting to take more than a few hours

You’re almost correct. There is no excuse for results to be available in most precincts in less than an hour. The votes are electronically recorded and counted in the machines. How long does it take for the tallies in the machines to be read? Only when the count is close, and mail in or provisional ballots must be counted should there be a delay. If there are only 100 paper ballots, and the margin of victory is 5,000, why bother counting?

What’s with the states that haven’t declared yet?

More than likely someone made an error and corrupted the count and the count must start over.

    Looking for hidden votes?

I fear in some precincts that is what is happening. It is probably not enough to sway the election, but the poll workers have to do due diligence to make certain all the hidden boxes and arriving trucks are properly counted.

Or the more likely scenario is the poll workers are clueless and can’t get the count done properly. The counties don’t hire the brightest to be poll workers. As I found out when I voted. The lady demanded an ID with a signature. I said no, all that is required is a photo ID and that is all you are going to get. Then there was the lady texting on her phone while I was waiting to vote. Yeh, clueless.

There is going to be some shake ups on day one of Trumps reincarnation as president. I also see a lot of local DAs in democratic strong holds trying to go after Trump, for anything, no matter how trivial. The democratic agenda, supported by the mainstream media, is to get rid of Trump. He is showing how corrupt the political system is and the slimeballs that have worked in the political arena for years are running scared.

For the next two months we will see nothing of Joe Biden. The tin-hat portion of me even sees him resigning within a couple of weeks, or declared mentally incompetent, so that the Humper can move into the president’s spot even if only for a few weeks. The democrats can then brag on having the first black female, Asian, Indian, president. The democrats are that corrupt.

    Not just No, but FN.

I’ve stated many times that the MSM has shown themselves to be irrevocably partisan apparatchiks of the Democratic Party.  As such they have no place claiming first place in the hierarchy of First Amendment protected organizations. They are trash, theyare are sewage., They are worse. With 95% of the staff registered Democrats, they cannot reform themselves, not should they be allowed to lie about trying.

Make the above determination public and put them on a list, along with the worst propaganda organs of totalitarian states. Turn them out. Out of the White House press conferences, out of any video or audio feed from the government. They can get all of it second-hand just like the American public  that they have lied to and tried to cheat.

Replace them with another list. Catherine Herridge for a start. We have real journalists in this country–they are easy to identify by the knives planted in their backs by the MSM.

There should be a third list, a few people/organizations that have sinned, but not to the deadly level, yet.

Remember the scene in Minority Report where walking down the street made you the focus of incessant personalized advertising? Too bad we’re not there yet. Morning Joe should see himself everywhere “This is the best Joe Biden ever.” Tip of the iceberg. Warner learned its lesson about not giving Eastwood money to make the movie. The Oscar for “Million Dollar Baby” was not held by the studio but instead resided at Albert Ruddy’s office until he passed earlier this year.

Actually, I’d be surprised if we see too much scrutiny of that decision. Not that it isn’t richly deserved, but mainly because it would expose too many Democrats as complicit in a corrupt cover-up of Joe Biden’s cognitive incapacity. Democrats forced Biden to retire after that cover-up became obvious in the June 27 debate with Donald Trump, after rigging their primaries to ensure that Biden didn’t need to campaign and potentially expose it earlier. Rather than use the convention to select the replacement nominee democratically, they instead rushed to anoint the arguably-worse Kamala Harris as the candidate. And they did that because Harris herself and the entire White House was complicit in the cover-up.

All the more reason for a House Committee investigation

“The 25th Amendment was passed for a purpose: To ensure that the president of the United States is never incapacitated and unable to make decisions. Recent events have shown that the mechanism for doing so, which relies on other elected officials to uphold their oaths of office, cannot function when those oaths of office are ignored. Partisan considerations should never risk the safety and security and the very existence of the United States. This committee is going to dig out the reasons for the recent failure and propose remedies. Those remedies may include severe penalties for public officials violating their oaths, or the explicit investiture of 25th Amendment responsibilities with others by giving them standing to raise the issue, or some other solution that has not yet been put forward. We note, also, that part of the remedy may include prosecution or impeachment of oath violators as an example for the future.”

POTUS should have whatever physician he prefers, but detemination of 25th Amendment incapacity must be subject to oversight by a strictly non-partisan medical professional of board.

       https://www.amazon.com/MARS-Martian-Autonomous-Republic-Frontiers/dp/1719829152?tag=ttgnet-20/

Book number five of a eight book science fiction space opera series. I reread the well printed and well bound POD (print on demand) trade paperback self published by the author in 2018. I have all eight books in the series and am rereading them now with the number seven and eight books that I just bought from Big River.

Wow, great story with lots of character development and action. An older engineer buys a bunch of Nikola Tesla’s journals in an old chest and spots a design for an “electric turbine” that was never built. He builds a working version of the electric impeller (a device that converts electricity into motion) after many restarts and has an anti-gravity device. The rest of the story concerns project funding and building various containers for the electric impeller and various peoples trying to steal the design.

This book is specifically about New Frontiers, Inc. completing the move to Mars with hundreds of thousands of employees / settlers and their space ship manufacturing facilities. Earth has grown too over populated and too political. And several groups of the Flickers have established a colony on Mars also. And the Flickers are not quite as pacifistic as they seem to be.

The writing of the story is a little bit rough, a little more editing would have been good. But for me, the story is always the most important thing. This is my second read so that makes it a five star book for me.

BTW, this is not the first time that a story has been written similar to this. Several stories have “magical” engines for space drives. A very similar book is John Varley’s most excellent “Red Thunder” which uses the squeezer drive.
       https://www.amazon.com/Red-Thunder-Lightning-Novel/dp/0441011624?tag=ttgnet-20/

The reason why I like these stories so much is that it is not just the new drive device, it is also the design and work to build the container around the new device.
