10:14 – Barbara is going out this afternoon to pick up the sticks and small branches that fell during the wind storm the other day that caused our power to fail. Right now, she’s in the den watching The Killing on Netflix streaming while she fills 150 bottles of heirloom lima bean seeds for biology kits. After that, I’ll have more bottles for her to label, thousands of them.

Kudos to Jordan for executing those two terrorists in response to ISIS executing their pilot.

Not to be a dick but I have a quibble with the use of this word; that wasn’t an “execution” by the ISIS scum, that was outright murder. Terrorists don’t “execute” their hostages; they “murder” them. Political entities like states and nations “execute” people, and while I’m aware that the ISIS bastards describe themselves as such, they are not. They are a rampaging mob of sub-human beasts who got hold of modern weapons and money and are now gone berserk in the Sandbox.
I’d say we ought to obliterate them totally, but hell, why can’t the Israelis, Saudis, Jordanians, Turks, et. al. handle that? Since we either gave or sold them many tons of our own modern weapon systems and could certainly see our way to providing the air cover/intel.
Also, any of our Western scumbags who are rushing over to sign up and help in the pillaging, torture and murder that these creatures do immediately lose their citizenship in whichever countries and it is now open season on them worldwide, with bounties, ditto for the ISIS leadership and any state actors who assist them.

Boiled down, we are ruled by liars, thieves, war criminals, murderers, perverts and other assorted scum and apparently that’s just fine with half the country, which of course, is outraged by the other half’s outrage.
Until the whole system is trashed and a new one, or ones, rebuilt, we are gonna be put through the wringer for the next couple of decades, for most of us here, I think, our last couple of decades.
We’ll have to do the best we can in taking care of ourselves, our families, friends and neighbors in the face of all of it, God help us and have mercy on us. Or the FSM if that is your thing. And even God sez He helps those who help themselves.
