By on March 26th, 2012 in science kits, writing

08:06 – It’s official. We’re now shipping the BK01 biology kits.

For the next two months, I’ll be working heads-down on the re-write of the forensic science book and prototyping the forensic science kit. The goal is to finish the book in May and have the book and kits available in August, so there’s a lot to be done between now and then.

Merkel caved during today in Europe. She took a hard line that Greece should not be allowed to leave the Eurozone, and suggested that a separate fund of billions should be established for possible problems in Italy and Spain, until Greece was on its feet. Germany would contribute heavily to that new fund. News on the second fund is not yet on the BBC website; it is only being reported on radio.

Hey, there is an error on thehomescientist.com site. There are 57 states, not 50. The President said so.

Is there anybody here who thinks Obamacare will be declared unConstitutional by SCOTUS? I’m 56. Is it possible the Baracolypse will occur in my lifetime?

Striking it down as a whole? Not a chance. I don’t know what sophistry the gowned goons will use, but they’re not going to rock the boat that badly.

Hearing some good news out of SCOTUS. Two liberal judges have doubts that the “individual mandate” is a tax. That almost certainly would make that portion unConstitutional. If that is the ruling in June, I’m guessing they will leave the rest for Congress to sort out.

I wonder what the 26 states that say OC is unConstitutional, if it is ruled to be?

Maybe that’s because Merkel said or did nothing new. I don’t know what the BBC has been smoking. Merkel (again) ruled out increasing the ESM beyond its existing 500 billion euro cap. Caved? Not hardly.
