09:01 - Today and tomorrow are the last push days. I'll finish up the second drafts of the final four chapters in the chemistry book and get the decks cleared for a five-day holiday weekend. Next week will be marathon lab sessions, doing setups and shooting images for the book. I hope to blast through all that in a week, at which point the book will be complete except for any final edits I need to make based on comments from my editor.

07:45 - I got the second drafts for the home chem lab book completed yesterday, which means that all I have left to do is setups and images, along with incorporating any final comments from my editor. Today is deck-clearing day. I'll work on a proposal/TOC for the home physics lab book and get that off to my editors. After that, I'm on hiatus until next week.
